As part of the Festival of Cultures, this year in the week of 23.06. until 30.06. at the garden show Kaiserslautern took place, the 29th June was entirely under the motto Stars & Stripes.
The DAIFC contributed significantly to the success of this event. The presentation of American road cruisers by the K-Town Rebell Cruisers and the demonstration of the group Boots in Lines on the open-air stage in the Neumühlpark had come about through the mediation of the board.
The club itself participated by selling hot dogs, popcorn and chips. In addition, there was a raffle, in which the participants could win Lego boxes and family cards (both donated by the garden show). This action was very popular, especially among the small visitors of the event.
Since tropical temperatures were close to 40 degrees Celsius on this day, the event was unfortunately only moderately visited, which greatly distressed everyone involved. The preparation and implementation was associated with a lot of work.
